How does a bill turn into a Act?
A bill is an idea that is pasted through different stages to become an Act. It starts off with them introducing it to the House. They then had to past it down to the first reader who decides on keeping it or rejecting it. The next stages is the Select Committee. They carefully read and listen to the views of the public and interested organisations, recommend amendments, they then report it to the House. The second reader decides if the bill should proceed to the committee of the whole house. The fifth stage is pasted to the Committee of the whole house. The members debate the bill part by part in a detailed examination that can take several days. This is the stage were the last changes are made. The second to last stage is the third reader. In this final debate, MPs look at the bill as a whole and consider what will happen if the bill becomes a law. The last stages is the Royal assent, this stage is when the Governor-General signs the bill on behalf of the Sovereign. They agreed that it should become an Act of parliament and passed into a law.

Greens target foreign land buyers bottling NZ water in review of Overseas Investment Act
I think that foreign land owners should not be allowed to sell New Zealand bottled water overseas. My opinion supports the Green Party’s decision. The co-leader of the Greens, Marama Davidson stated that we need to ensure that we are not giving away this resource to international corporations to reap profits from at the expense of New Zealand’s best interests. She also said that water should not be for sale to the highest bidder, Changing the law is a key step towards protecting it for the generations ahead. Marama Davidson said a lot of things to protect her rights against selling bottled water to foreigners. I agree with Marama Davidson because some people sell bottled water to the highest bitter and they already have a lot of money. It wouldn’t be fear if the people who were already rich get more money from selling bottled water, they should of gave it to the people who is struggling to earn money.

Bake Bean Bread Cases
Today in cooking class Me and my partner Marlinda cooked Baked Bean Bread Cases. The first thing we had to do we cut the crust off every single slice. Then we had to push it in to our muffin trays with our fingers. We then had to scoop in one full spoon of baked beans and top it up with cheese. The last thing we had to do was put it in the over on 180'c for 15 mins. Hope you enjoy our blog post.

Vaimoana & Loseli Cooking Omelette
Today me and my partner Loseli cooked Omelette in Mrs Tuipulotus class. We had to beat two eggs in a bowl and dice the capsicum, red onion and the ham. We had to evenly spread the eggs in the frying pan and add the rest of the ingredients to one half off the eggs. We then folded the omelette gentle and halfed it. And then I served it on a white plate.
